How To Unlock/Reset Your Android Password Pattern Lock

On your Samsung Infuse, a lock pattern provides extra security when used with a password or PIN. A complicated lock pattern works very well at keeping unwanted users away from the phone, but it's also harder for you to remember. If you forgot your pattern, use your Google Account information to unlock the Infuse. If you didn't set up a Google Account on your Infuse, reset the phone to bypass the lock screen.

Reset Lock Pattern
Step 1

Power on the Infuse and enter any incorrect lock pattern. The message "Sorry, try again" displays.
Step 2

Tap "OK" at the prompt, and then enter the incorrect pattern four more times.
Step 3

Tap the "Forgot Pattern?" button. Enter your Google Account information, and then tap "Sign In."
Step 4

Enter your new lock pattern, and then touch "Continue." Alternatively, tap "Cancel" to enter a new pattern later.
 

Factory Reset

Step 1

Power off your Samsung Infuse. If it does not turn off, take out the battery and reinsert it.
Step 2

Press and hold "Power," "Volume Down" and "Volume Up" together.
Step 3

Let go of all the buttons when the Android logo appears.
Step 4

Press "Volume Down" to highlight "Delete All User Data," and then press "Power" to select the option.
Step 5

Press "Volume Down" to select "Reboot System Now," and then press "Power" to reset the Infuse to its default state.

 This tutorial will show you how to unlock and reset your android device lock pattern if you have forgotten your lock pattern and can remember your Google/Gmail account.

If you have synchronized your android device with Google Gmail account before then you just need to signin your Gmail account and the lock pattern will be removed, but if you have not sync your device with Gmail or you have forgotten your Gmail ID then no need to panic just follow the step below and you will reset your android device and lock pattern will be removed.

Steps  to recover lock pattern of any android device phone
   1. Switch off the phone.

   2. Now hold this buttons all together at the same time “Volume up + Home Key + Power Button” until the  phone boots (if you device doesn’t have a home button just hold together volume up key and power key)
   

3. Now a screen like DOS will come up with different options

  4.  Use the volume key to move up and down then scroll down to “Restore Factory Defaults” or “Delete all User Data” depending on which is on your device.

   5. After clicking on the settings above, now scroll down to “Reboot System Now ” and wait for your phone to reboot.

Now your phone will reboot and all lock pattern removed.
